Turfan Jewelers was founded in 1985, rooted in a craft that spans generations. Joseph's father was a master jeweler in Istanbul, Turkey and it was there, surrounded by the grand tradition of Ottoman goldsmithing, that Joseph learned the art of fine jewelry from the ground up. In 1985, father and son brought that deep expertise and old-world passion across the Atlantic to New York City, setting up in the legendary Diamond District.
